Shaft or drive couplings have a high speed range, and a large angle of twist with a progressive characteristic curve, approximately 6-8º at nominal torque.

High elasticity and considerable flexibility in any direction with low counter forces on shafts and bearings ensures the shafts do not need to be aligned accurately.
